Anthology Applications: Adventures in the Deep

Do you have an unforgettable adventure waiting beneath the waves?
We’re looking for 20 magical, exciting, funny, heartwarming & imaginative children’s stories for a special children’s anthology that will be published in April 2027!
Anthology theme: Adventures in the Deep – Ocean
Dive into underwater kingdoms, hidden treasures, curious sea creatures, mysterious caves, lost cities, brave explorers, magical oceans and unforgettable journeys beneath the surface. Whether your story is whimsical, adventurous, humorous or full of wonder, we want to be transported into the depths of your imagination. This anthology is aimed at young readers, aged 9 to 13.

Rules:
Your submission may not exceed 5000 words.
Children under 18 need consent from parents/guardians.
We will select 20 stories for inclusion through a panel of judges. The judges’ decision will be final.
Each chosen author will sign a standard publishing agreement and receive royalties from every print and ebook sale.
Submissions close 30th September 2026 (midnight SA time)
Submission must be sent in Word format, text size 12, Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing.
